Audition Form: Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein
Thank you for your interest in auditioning for Duck Creek Players’ Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.
This audition is open to actors from the ages of 16 and up.
Due to the intense and disturbing nature of this story and its visual representation, actors who are cast should be ready to be challenged. This is a version which attempts to honor Mary Shelley's original work and is not based upon the 1930s horror movie.

AUDITIONS:
Date: July 26th
Time: Auditions begin at 5:00 PM
Location: Elwood Opera House; 202 South Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana)
Who Can Audition: This production is open to auditioners ages 16 and above.
Experience Needed: None! All levels welcome.
What to prepare:
Actors should come prepared to deliver a memorized 30 to 60 second dramatic monologue which demonstrates some range
After monologues, select portions of the script will be read in groups to evaluate match-ups and character chemistry.
Video auditions permitted, but may result in the chances of not being cast in certain roles.
Rehearsals:
Practices will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning at 6:30pm until 9:30pm at the Elwood Opera House
TECH WEEK & PERFORMANCES:
Tech Weeks starts on Sunday, October 11th, with Performances on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday - with two performances on Saturday. Any actor indicating an absence during Tech Week/Performances will not be cast.
FINALLY, if you state on your AUDITION APPLICATION that you would be willing to accept any role, please keep your word. If you have a preferred role, please list it. However, withdrawing from a production after the cast list has been announced will make it difficult for you to be cast in future productions. Thanks for understanding!
